Welcome to Faith Junior School BYOD Program!
Our BYOD program in the Junior School is available for Prep - Year 6 students. Details of how the program looks for each year level are briefly listed below, however, further details regarding specifications etc... are found in the BYOD information booklet above.
Prep - Year 1: Optional for students to bring an iPad to school each day
Year 2 - Year 3: Compulsory for students to bring an iPad to school each day
Year 4 - Year 6: Compulsory for students to bring an iPad and a stylus to school each day
In the classroom, your child will engage in a variety of learning experiences both ‘on the iPad’ and ‘off the iPad’. Although you will access your information through our Class OneNote books, as well as Microsoft Teams and a variety of other apps and programs, many of our learning tasks will include hands on materials and workbooks, the iPad is just one tool used within the classroom.
So how do I get my device set up and ready for our BYOD program in the Junior School?
The first thing you will need is your child’s school email address and password (their log in details). These details will be provided to your child by their class teacher and are used for signing into our Microsoft office programs and some other apps and subscriptions.
