JUNIOR SCHOOL NEWS - From the Acting Head of Junior School
Communication Date Friday, 15 September 2023
We have not only come to the end of another week but also to the end of the term. Thank you students, parents and staff for your efforts and contributions to another term of fun, growth and learning at Faith.
A real highlight of this week was the Tennis Carnival. Our Junior School oval was marked out with around 120 courts with students from Prep to Year 12 participating throughout the day. Well done students on your participation and for having a go. Peel House won the day on points.
At assembly, we celebrated the learning that has occurred across the school and acknowledged the efforts of many students as they live out the 5Cs among us. The Staff of the Week Award was presented to Mrs Irvin (who looks after all the enrolments at both campuses) and to Mrs Wildman (who ensures Mr Weier, Ms Brice and Mrs Hofstee are organised for all the things they need to do, as well as producing our Weekly Publication).
Yesterday, the school turned yellow to mark R U OK Day. Earlier in the week, Year 5 students showcased their 'Sustainable Housing Designs', and Year 1 presented their 'Changes Expo'. Thank you parents for joining these events as you were able.
We will finish the term with Chapel this afternoon. Term 4 starts on Tuesday, 3 October.
Best wishes everyone for a safe and happy school holiday break.
Psalm 139:14 I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.
