Communication Date 17 March, 2023
Upcoming information for Term 1, Week 9
In our upcoming information this week we have details of our volunteer induction and class carer induction sessions, a Prep homework update, Year 1 excursion announcement, Year 4 camp drop off and pick up procedures, Art club news, important details about our Junior School Cross Country and our Whole College Fun Run, Active@Faith and Create@Faith announcements and some details on Holy Week costume requirements for some Year levels. As we head into week 9 there are lots of things happening around our campus and we can't wait for the week to start.
ARRIVING AT SCHOOL ON TIME
We know that things get busy as we head towards the end of the term, but we have an increasing number of students arriving late to school each day. Students are expected to arrive by 8:25am each morning ready for the day to begin at 8:30am. Arriving on time sets your child up for success as they start the day with routine and not missing any important morning announcements. We thank you for your support in helping us finish the term well.

PREP HOMEWORK
As promised, the long-awaited Homework has arrived! We are currently learning how to form letters using the correct pencil grip and direction here at school and would love for your Preppies to practise this at home a little, too. We have sent home Alphabet books for your child to use. We recommend tracing a few letters each night (or more if your child is keen) so that they have practised each letter of the alphabet each week. It is a fun idea to use a different colour each time a letter is traced so that children are creating rainbow letters and getting lots of practise.
If you have any questions or concerns, please contact your class teacher.
