HUNGRY STUDENTS
This week as our students have settled into break time, we have had an increasing number of students coming to the Student Hub or telling staff they have eaten all their food and are still hungry or have nothing for the second break. Please have a conversation with your child at home about how much food they need to get through the entire school day so that we can ensure they have enough fuel in their bodies to engage in learning.

PREP - TERM 1 CURRICULUM
In World Around Us we are learning all about what makes us and our past special. To help us with this could Prep parents and caregivers please email their child's teacher a family photo and a photo of their child as a baby or toddler. The family photos will be displayed in our classroom on the Family Tree and the baby/toddler photos will be used by the children to explore how they have grown and changed with time.

PREP SWIMMING
Swimming commences on Tuesday and Thursday of next week. As we swim in the first session, could you please send your child to school with their swimmers under their uniform. Please also include a dry set of named underwear, in their swimming bag for them to change into afterwards. We ask that all items are clearly named to assist us in getting everybody’s belongings back to the right home. We would love to have some parent helpers to assist our Preppies with changing and getting to and from the YMCA, so if you have completed the 2 part Volunteer Induction course and are available and willing to help, please contact your class teacher.
